We repair, reshape and re-cover motorcycle seats in Helsinki. Torn covers and collapsed foam get fixed; long-distance comfort gets built in — with leather, gel and stitching work done by hand.
Services
Every saddle gets the same treatment: find out what is actually wrong, decide what the rider needs, then rebuild it properly. Take a single fix or a complete custom saddle.
Split seams, cracked vinyl, torn leather, foam that has given up and bent base pans. We repair the structure first and put the cover back together so the fix lasts.
New covers in leather, vinyl, Alcantara or waterproof technical fabric, cut and stitched by hand. Two-tone panels, piping and original-style stitching are all possible.
Seats that are too soft, too hard, too high or too wide at the tank. We sculpt the foam, add or remove layers and narrow the front so your feet reach the ground.
Gel and memory-foam inserts for long days in the saddle, for rider and pillion alike, plus a heated pad if you ride through the Finnish winter.
Diamond, hex or straight-line quilting, embossed or stitched logos, and colours matched to your paintwork. Bring a sketch, a photo or just an idea.
Original-looking rebuilds for older machines: period-correct shapes, patina-friendly materials and foam rebuilt from the pan up.
Process
Roughly a week, for most jobs. You always know what is being done, what it costs and when the seat is ready.
Pictures of the seat from the top, the side and the damaged spot, plus the bike's make, model and year.
You get an answer with what we would do, which materials suit the job, what it costs and how long it takes.
Drop it at the workshop in Helsinki by appointment — the seat alone is enough, the whole bike stays home. You can also post it.
Cover off, foam reshaped, inserts fitted, new cover cut and stitched. We send you photos before it all goes back together.
Pick the seat up or have it sent back to you, bolt it on and ride. Small adjustments after a week on the bike are quick to make.
Materials
A saddle is a short stack of layers, and a problem in one layer is felt in another. So we rebuild the stack instead of patching the top.
The base pan carries the load, the support foam keeps the shape, the comfort layer decides how the seat feels after three hours and the cover protects all of it. When a seat is uncomfortable, the answer is usually in the middle layers — not in a thicker cover.
We pick materials to match how you actually ride: a daily commute, long touring days, winter riding or a classic that has to stay original. Because the covers are cut and sewn here, the fit can be adjusted in centimetres rather than in whole sizes.
Every cover is sewn with marine-grade thread and sealed seams, and the base pan is inspected before anything new goes on top of it.
| Material | Best for | Care |
|---|---|---|
| Full-grain leather | Touring, cruisers and café builds; ages with use | Wipe with a damp cloth, treat once or twice a season |
| Automotive vinyl | Daily riding and winter bikes; the most water-resistant option | Soap and water is enough |
| Alcantara and suede | Grip for sporty and custom saddles | Soft brush, never soak |
| Marine-grade thread | Standard on every cover we sew | No care needed |
| Gel insert | Long-distance comfort and pressure relief | Inside the saddle, no care needed |
| Memory foam | Shaping and support where the seat is too firm | Inside the saddle, no care needed |
| Heated pad | Cold-weather riding; wired into the bike's 12 V system | Check the connections with the bike's electrics |
Pricing
These are indicative starting prices in euro. The final price is agreed in writing once we have seen the seat — and never changes behind your back.
from €120
Indicative, confirmed after we see the seat.
from €320
Depends on the base seat, materials and design.
What moves the price: damage to the base pan, leather instead of vinyl, gel inserts, heating, how complicated the stitch pattern is, and whether it is one seat or a rider and pillion pair. Nothing starts before you have a fixed price by message.
FAQ
No — the seat is all we need. For reshaping and comfort work it helps to know how you sit, so send photos of the seat on the bike, plus your height and what kind of riding you do, and we can work from that.
A standard repair or re-cover is usually ready in one to two days. Custom builds with new foam layers, gel inserts and design work take three to seven days. You get a date before the seat is left with us.
Usually yes. We take material off the top of the foam and narrow the front where your legs pass the tank. Most riders gain a few centimetres of reach to the ground without losing long-distance comfort — how much depends on the seat and on what is under the cover.
If you want it to, yes. We copy the panel layout, stitch spacing and piping of your seat and match the material as closely as possible. If you want it clearly custom, the other direction works too: two-tone panels, quilted patterns and stitched logos.
Yes — a cover-only job is the cheapest way to fix a seat, and the one we do most. We still take the cover off and check the pan and the foam underneath, because a new cover over a broken base will not last long.
That is the most common reason riders come to us. We add a gel or memory-foam layer, reshape the pressure points and keep the original look as far as possible. Usually the seat looks the same and simply stops hurting.
Yes. Seats can be posted in from anywhere in Finland and sent back the same way. For other countries, ask first and we will check the shipping.
Bring it back or send it again and we will look at it. Small changes to the foam are quick to make, and we would rather the seat be right than have you ride around uncomfortable.
Next step
Send a few photos and the bike details and you get a straight answer: what we would do, what it costs and how long it takes. We reply in English and in Finnish.
Not sure what is wrong with your seat? Describe the problem in your own words and attach a photo — an opinion costs nothing.
